The Census Bureau released the estimates, which were developed using data from the American Community Survey for cities in the state with a population of 60,000 or more.
The cities are ranked using the median multiple, the value that determines the number of years of work at the median salary required to pay off the median home price. Anything under 3 is considered to be affordable.
Norwalk underwent the largest median multiple percentage increase at 21.8 percent, and New Haven saw the largest decrease at -7.4 percent.
Bridgeport ranks third on the list, with a median multiple of 3.9.
